These are the basics for preparing artwork for standard print.
- Ensure solid black is set to superblack: (50.50.50.100).
- Black text should be: 0.0.0.100 (standard black = K).
- File needs to have 3mm bleed and trim marks (unless printer specifies differently)
- Indicate fold marks in slug area (use separate layer to set up fold marks)
- One PDF per separate piece of artwork.
- Always have someone check over your exported file.
- Send to client for approval prior to going to printer.
